What they don't tell you

The location is prime for exploring Southern Iceland, with easy access to fine sites like Seljalandfoss and Gluggafoss. The cozy shared spaces, including a sunroom, added to our comfort. Plus, the warmth of the host, who provided tea-making facilities.

Possibly the best and excellent stay during our visit. Marvellous and awesome position in the nice enough area, very close to a nice area, beautiful nature and the main attractions...

Enjoyed the well-kept twin room for 2 bathrooms and the way it was setup. The breakfast had a lot of selection, the food was outstanding. The staff turned out to be very friendly. The location was peaceful and comfortable and I could use private parking on-site.

The kitchen availability was misleading. I was disappointed to find out I couldn't use it at all. I also faced issues with the WiFi, as it didn't work in my room. While the proximity to attractions is nice, it doesn't make up for the lack of basic amenities.

Everything was fine, hospitable staff, absolutely perfect location very close to a beautiful valley and many attractions and nature. There were soundproof, tidy rooms with 2 bathrooms and bunk beds, as example.

It has quiet location in Hlitharendi so close to the main attractions, and a beautiful valley...

The rooms were spacious. And the home-cooked meals were delicious and generous! The location is perfect for exploring the south of Iceland. Blessed with gorgeous views of the countryside!

The warm showers were a relief after exploring all day. Bring some snacks for late-night cravings.

The Twin Room with Shared Bathroom was comfy and clean, great after a long day of exploring. Shared facilities were not an issue. There were two bathrooms, so no waiting. The mattresses were nice and the sheets felt fresh. The common areas were inviting too. Breakfast was delicious. Just a bit cramped in shared spaces but manageable.

This was just a balanced option for a couple of nights in Hlitharendi with good value for cost. The private bathroom in the small cottage was really nice after a long day of travel. Bring some snacks if you plan on a late night in.

The bedroom was brilliant and incredible. This was a good and absolutely perfect location just next door to nature and restaurants.
